‘KATTE’ A REMAKE OF KD BILLA KILADI RANG

N Om Prakash Rao has made a quickie this time in just 39 days. That is ‘Katte’…Lucky spot as caption a remake of Tamil film 2013 romantic comedy of Pandiaraj direction and production.

At the time of Pandiaraj coming to another Kannada cinema here is a film of his in Kannada made as ‘Katte’ starring Chandan of Lakshmi Baramma fame, Nagashekhar hat trick director and comedy actor, Shravya of ‘Rose’ fame, Ravi Teja, new comer Rukshar and debutant Geetha.

This is a film by Umesh Reddy as producer. He has banked on the ability of N Omprakash Rao. Rao on the other hand was looking for a film with newcomers.

This is the first film of father director N Omprakash Rao and daughter Shravya. Chandan plays the useless and jobless guy who later knows what life is.

Working under the direction of father is a good opportunity. I knew that he would scold when things are not right. It was always for good work for the film I know. There was no compromise in work and with affection this film is made says Shravya. She plays the role of Sandhya very suitable to my nature she says.

Geetha seen in The Bell Hotel as an employee is in her first time as ‘Bajari’ house wife. Rukshar says this is better chance for her in Kannada to open an account. Ravi Teja feels fortunate to work in Om Prakash Rao direction.
